October 29th 2000, KCOU counted down the Top 88.1 songs of all-time, as
selected by voters at local record stores and our promotional table set
up in Brady Commons. The countdown began at noon with the Dead Kennedys
and ended about 8 hours later. When the dust settled, The Beatles reigned
supreme for the second year in a row. |
